Doll Appraisal
Living Dolls
In order to provide the customer with the level of appraisal
for which they desire, we have developed three types of
appraisal packages. You may need only the doll's identification
and estimated value or you might want a more complete detailed
history of the doll and its creator. The following packages
allow you to select the appraisal which fits your needs best.
Deluxe Portfolio
The "Deluxe Portfolio" provides a detailed description of your
doll complete with manufacturer/designer, doll's name, dates,
existing condition of doll and clothing, and the
manufacturer/designer's history. Each portion of the doll is
fully detailed. For example wheather the doll has a missing
finger or has no missing fingers. The type of mouth, eyes,
wig, etc. What markings appear on you doll and their meaning.
Each item of clothing is identified and condition appraised.
Recommendations are made for restoration and/or replacement
of doll parts or clothing. The estimated value is based on at
least three references. Current selling estimates are included
from online auctions. A picture of your doll is also provided
with this package. This package is only provided for antique
dolls. The price for this package is $50.00 per doll.
Premium Portfolio
The "Premium Portfolio" provides a more generalized statement of
your doll and the clothing's present condition and value. The
manufacturer/designer, doll's name, dates, markings, and estimated
value are also provided. The estimated value is based on the
latest Blue Book Dolls & Values by Jan Foulke and at least
one other source. Recommendations for restoration will also be
provided if requested. This package is available for all types
of dolls. The price for an antique doll is $25.00 and the pricing
for any other type of doll is $15.00.
Identification & Pricing List
The "Identification & Pricing List" provides you with the doll's name,
the manufacturer/designer, dates, and the estimated value based on the
latest Blue Book Dolls & Values by Jan Foulke. Restoration
recommendations are not provided. No statement is provided about the
clothing and/or their condition. This package is a "bare bones"
approach to doll appraisal. The pricing for this package is $10.00
per doll regardless of doll's age.
